Why I'm Alive
My parents were living half way round the world from each other and they were pen pals. My mom was working in Hong-Kong and my dad went to live there. He got a job. They met Oct.21.1996 outside the South China Morning Post (a shop) at fairy terminal. they take a fairy to Land Tau Island. They are falling in love. After 6 weeks my dad finally decides that she's the one. They walk round to a church one day and dad leans down and asks her if she wants to get married and my mom said she didn't believe it.So they got married and I was born 2 year's later.
Family Names
Well, I found out that all my brother's and sister's middle names are the same as our great gran parents, gran parents or even parents. Here are our names. My middle name is Patria, my great gran mother from my mother's side is Lola pat. Her name is Patria and she's still alive and well at the age of: 84. I am named after her. Christopher my brother is named after our dad he is also Christopher. But he is also named after our great gran father from our dad's side because Christopher's middle name is Henry and our great gran father's name is Henry as well. My youngest brother Carmichael, his middle name is Felomino which is also our great gran father's name from our mum's side. Last of all baby Catherine's middle name is Audrey like our gran mother from our dad's side. That's a lot of passing down from generations!

Starting Out
In our class this term we are learning about ourselves and where we have come from as part of our cultural community. As part of this we are researching our family tree. I know my mum comes from the Philippines and my dad comes from England.
